i just like to see the “best” in SF accurately represented. i know of some bands that entered & find it hard to believe they got cut while some of these didn’t. there are 1 or 2 good bands here, but really, there must be politics at play…

A little disappointed with the diversity of the local line-up… It all sounds like kid rock, and I’m not talking about the artist. With that, Pailboy had a great voice, it’s different, strong and (if you check out the videos on myspace) a bit soulful. His white boy lyrics are even witty. He deserves a nod! I also enjoyed the old timeyness/heart of Sioux City Kid

It’s NO CONTEST! If you saw Sioux City Kid & The Revolutionary Ramblers tearing it up at the Red Devil Lounge Saturday night you’d have to be some other band’s mother or girlfriend to really vote for anyone else. And if your girlfriend was at the show… she’s now your ex-girlfriend!!! You can probably still count on mom though…
