[pullquote quote=”A person trapped by society’s narrow minded ideals and trying to escape it all! That is what I think of Rosewood!” credit=”Jared Leto”]Never a band to shy away from controversy, [lastfm]30 Seconds To Mars[/lastfm] pulled no punches in their new epic video for “Hurricane.” A mini-movie in and of itself, the original version was rejected by MTV and other outlets, reportedly disturbed by the film’s flag-draped coffins, nudity and portrayal of a transsexual character named ‘Rosewood.’

They also, however, rose to the challenge of producing a “clean” version that could air on television. Did they succeed in keeping “Hurricane” as compelling a film, even in ‘clean’ form? You be the judge.
Here for your viewing pleasure is the brand-new ‘clean’ version of the epic “Hurricane” video.
