Band of Ballers 3-on-3 celebrity basketball tournament
On Monday, July 11, 2011, Converse Band of Ballers took place and was filmed by MTV2. Converse’s signature three-on-three basketball tournament that combines music and basketball, the event was hosted by MTV’s Sway and basketball and sneaker guru, Bobbito Garcia who provided play-by-play commentary. Teams were comprised of Wiz Khalifa, Matt & Kim, Jim Jones and more in the day-long tournament to win the coveted Converse Band of Ballers “Golden Speaker Trophy”. The winner of the tournament will be revealed in an on-air special on MTV2 to air in mid-August.
