Live 105′s annual holiday concert NOT SO SILENT NIGHT returns this December with an INSANE line-up and we’ll have all the tasty details in just a few short weeks, but first, I was curious what Bay Area band you’d most like to open our show?
We’ll have way more details soon with regards to our official NSSN 2011 local band contest, workshop seminar and more, but for now, if you had to pick your ONE favorite Bay Area band who would that be?
Previous winners over the years includes FINISH TICKET, SCENE OF ACTION, DIZZY BALLOON, MALDROID and COLD HOT CRASH

I’ve included a list of local acts that we regularly support on our Soundcheck Sunday evening program, but feel free to write in YOUR fave if it’s not included on my list.
Alameda's FINISH TICKET: winner of the NSSN 2010 local band contest and opened up for Black Keys, Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance and Phoenix in San Jose at the HP!

The Thirstbusters are arguably one of the most complex and musically developed groups of the area. After voting myself, the only advice I have to give to others is to not be afraid of pressing the “other” button and typing in Thirstbusters. Life is full of many tough decisions, but we must often think outside the box and make decisions not listed above in order to get the most out of it.

Just saw NEW DIPLOMAT Live for the first time and their music blew me away. They had ALOT of Energy on stage too which made the crowd ask for more!!! I’ll definitely be at their next show. My vote is for them
