Bay Area Punk Rockers NOFX Join Occupy Movement

San Francisco’s puck rock heroes NOFX have written a new song for the occupy movement!  They also rock the track at the Los Angeles Occupy eviction party yesterday!

NOFX is one of the most successful punk bands of our time.  They have sold well over 6 million records and have never “sold out” to a major label.  Yesterday, November 27, Fat Mike and NOFX played a show down in Los Angeles for the Occupy ‘eviction’ party which took place outside City Hall.

According to NME and LA Weekly, the band preformed a new track called, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice If Every Movement Had A Theme Song” which they also played at the Occupy San Francisco gathering.

NOFX will be playing a few shows here in the Bay Area very soon, rocking The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on January 4th and also have a two night stand at The Fillmore in San Francisco January 2oth and 21st!  According to Fat Mike, “We will be touring with so many bros we might have to call it Brogasm 2012!”
