At the Drive-in to reunite in 2012

With a tweet sent out from the band’s twitter feed that reads, “¡ ATTENTION ! To whom it may concern: AT THE DRIVE-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence THIS STATION IS …NOW…OPERATIONAL,” At the Drive-in announced a reunion in 2012. El Paso Texas based At the Drive-in broke up in 2001 just after the release of their explosive major label (the now defunct Grand Royal) debut, Relationship of Command. One half of the band went on to form The Mars Volta, while the others created Sparta. According to Drowned in Sound the band hinted at a reunion back in 2009.
