Nigel Lythgoe, Executive Producer of American Idol, is asking President Obama to come on the show to do Al Green‘s hit song that was went viral!According to TMZ, the producer was blown away by Obama’s cover of  “Let’s Stay Together” at the Apollo Theater earlier this month.

Nigel sent a tweet to the President saying, “We loved your vocal performance so much we’d love to invite you on to American Idol this Season for a duet with Al Green.”
