1. Chris Simon and Maureen Gosling talk about their new documentary This Ain’t No Mouse Music, the story of Arhoolie Records. Chris Strachwitz, the founder of the Bay Area record label and the central character in the film, talks about his personal story of coming to this country and establishing a home for a variety of Regional Music genres.
2.Filmmaker Eric Merola and documentary film subject Ralph Moss talk about Second Opinion, the story of a young writer (Moss) who was hired by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the 70’s to help inform the public about their efforts in The War on Cancer. What Moss found was what looked to him to be a suppression of information about good clinical results of Laetrile.
3.Mill Valley Film Festival Founder and Director Mark Fishkin talks about the movies, music, special panel discussions with filmmakers and other events associated with the annual event. The festival runs October 2nd-12th and features many world and Bay Area premieres and special tributes to Elle Fanning and Eddie Redmayne.
