There’s a lot to unpack from the jump off this week, following last week’s surprise death (SPOILER ALERT) of Lowell and Boyfriend’s gun-wielding face-off with the Candyman. So where do we start? With Liv in an interrogation room trying to peddle an alibi that is too weak to even stand up to traffic cameras and with splashes of blood on her face. Good thing she’s not a vampire.
But since zombies have feelings too (at least in this universe) Liv is deep in shock and mourning for Lowell. She gets an reprieve from Detective Clive’s dirty zombie cop boss, who shuts down the whole investigation per Blaine’s command by declaring Lowell’s death a suicide unless the M.E. says otherwise. The M.E. is unlikely to weigh in anytime soon since that’s Dr. Ravi and he’s already scurried off to check on Boyfriend’s mental health and to offer some misdirection since Boyfriend obviously can’t know this is all zombie mania running rampant in Seattle.
