Bruce Jenner is dead, so to speak, but as of today, Caitlyn Jenner, the woman on the cover of the July issue of Vanity Fair, lives on.
“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,'” Jenner told Vanity Fair.
After a long revelatory period where Jenner, formerly the male patriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, began to better understand that his true self was in fact not a he at all, Caitlyn was introduced to the world.
Jenner’s new appearance sparked a media frenzy after the announcement that she would appear for the first time on the cover of the celebrated magazine, and when the cover was revealed, many tweeted words of encouragement, acceptance, and celebration.
Here are some of our favorite responses to her magazine cover so far.
