The San Francisco Symphony is sure expanding their repertoire lately. Their film and score series, wherein they add their own live score performing to a movie playing on screen, has already included hit films like The Wizard of Oz, Home Alone, and The Godfather, and this weekend, they’ll add another iconic film to their oeuvre: Back to the Future.
Now, about 30 years since the film’s original premiere, audiences will get to see Marty McFly travel through time right alongside the film’s Grammy-nominated composer and the event’s host, Alan Silvestri.
If you’re looking to attend, don’t drag your feet. Film fans who arrive by 6 p.m. on Saturday will get the opportunity to snap a photo with a (replica) DeLorean, which is a pretty sweet humblebrag.
Get your tickets here for Back to the Future at the SF Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. The shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19.
