Jimmy Eat World’s ninth studio album doesn’t have a title or release date yet, but the lead single “Get Right” dropped this weekend. The song is short and sweet, clocking in at under three minutes but serving every bit of angst and melody you’d expect from the Arizona emo-punk icons.
The band had a minor revival earlier this year when Taylor Swift lip synced their biggest hit “The Middle” in an Apple Music commercial. The track climbed the iTunes charts and introduced a new generation of fans to the enduring sound of 90s pop-punk. Their next album is expected this year.
