It’s been reported that the Bay Area is going to be “walloped” by a storm this week & it appears Thursday will bring an atmospheric river, AKA, a “Pineapple Express” to northern California.

By the time the front rolls through Wednesday night, the weather said, more than 2 inches of rain could fall over the North Bay mountains with 1/2″ to 1.5″ for the rest of the North Bay.

Around the SF Bay Area and the Santa Cruz Mountains, the storm will dump generally a tenth to a quarter of an inch.

Many in the North Bay have laid out sandbags and have been securing their houseboats in preparation for this week’s storm.
