In my Sunday night mix of cursing the internet, listening to Soundcheck and watching The Simpsons I found this! TIGERcat a local San Francisco based project produced by Natasha Adorlee Johnson and Alan Aronoff. 1.) Sunnyvale’s Toys R Us houses more than playthings. Built in 1970 over an 1800s apple orchard once owned by John Murphy, the store is said to be haunted. Johnson was a wood-chopper at John Murphy’s farm where he fell in love with the farmer’s daughter. His axe missed the wood one day, cut his leg, and he bled to death. He now roams the back aisles of Toys R Us seeking his love Beth, Elizabeth Yuba Murphy Tafee.

Rock the Bells 2010 was a dream lineup for any hip-hop fan. Veteran artists like Snoop Dogg, KRS-One, A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan revisited their debut albums, performing them in their entirety. Lauryn Hill made her long-awaited return to the stage and a new generation of hip-hop artists like Wiz Khalifa and Immortal Technique introduced themselves to a mass audience.
Last night the FREE FOR ALL crew got to be part of an awesome event. Rebel 8 and PBR put together a pinball tournament that raised over 10,000 dollars for the Keep A Breast foundation.
The Bay showed much love to west coast hip-hop veteran Snoop Dogg as he performed Doggystyle in its entirety. Snoop induced many sing-a-longs with tracks like “Gin and Juice,” “Ain’t No Fun” and “What’s My Name.” He was joined on stage by Warren G, Kurupt, Lady of Rage, Daz Dillinger and RBX.
