Our very own Menace, AKA The White Menace, in the LIVE 105 studios.

This summer, Bravo is premiering Miss Advised, a reality show with appearances by LIVE 105′s own Menace from Music in the Morning. Be sure to catch the season premiere on Monday, June 18th at 10PM on Bravo!

Visit Bravo.com to watch a trailer for the show and see Menace tease Emily Morse, his co-host of the ‘Sex With Emily’ podcast and primary personality on Miss Advised, for a taste of what to expect this season.

[LISTEN] Megan Holiday Interviews BFD 2012 Players Young Science

We are so lucky in the Bay Area to have amazing local artists at our fingertips. I have watched local electronic band Young Science find their footing and completely hone in on their amazing sound…which I can really only compare to sex! Young Science played my Birthday Bash two years in a row and are performing at this year’s BFD on the Local Band Stage.

They’re releasing their debut album Schizofriendly on May 18th and having a record release party this Friday at 9 PM at the Great American Music Hall with The Holdup, Woosters, and DJ Aaron Axelsen. I had the pleasure of talking with the guy behind the music Grant Averill aka James Melo yesterday at LIVE 105 yesterday. Check it out!

Manliest Movies

While the list is debatable (and debatably endless), there are some movies out there that every guy must see. Here are just a few.

And which ones aren’t listed?

1. Die Hard

Everyone knows Bruce Willis only appears in manly movies. So, if he’s listed in the credits, chances are your manhood won’t be questioned if you watch anything he’s in, even if it’s Nancy Drew.

2. Field of Dreams

Because yours truly lacks the man parts required to confirm or deny this pick (I’ve never even seen this movie), Field of Dreams is on this list simply to encompass all the mandatory inspiring sports movies that men apparently must see. Brian’s Song, The Whole Nine Yards, The Sandlot, whatever – toss ‘em all in this category.

3. Back to the Future

Because you watched it growing up and quote it as a grown up. And because the DeLorean is still super cool and the Marty McFly vest is making a comeback.

4. The Godfather

And anything mob-related from My Cousin Vinny to Casino, men love a good gangster movie. Hollywood’s tendency to stereotype Italian American values of family, loyalty, honor, and of course some bad-ass violence always makes for an entertaining man movie. Plus, they’re quotable and it beats watching Jersey-esque reality TV.

5. Super Troopers

Technically this qualifies as a unisex flick, but file this under your obligatory 420 cinema.Throw Half Baked, Pineapple Express, and Harold & Kumar in there while you’re at it.

6.Rambo // Rocky

Excuse us for categorizing these two movies together, the obvious common link being Sylvester Stallone, another man’s man. Legend has it you can feel your abs hardening as you watch anything with a sweaty Sly running around, kicking ass, and taking names on screen. But it’s just legend.

7. Terminator

Another highly quotable action-packed movie with former Governator of Caulifornia and love-child maker, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

8. Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels

Everyone’s seen Guy Richie’s Snatch, pun or not – you decide, but Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels preceded that international gem by two years and is quite the British homage to all that is manly, in our humble opinion.

Local Artist Doe Eye Might Perform At The Billboard Awards

In a few weeks, Doe Eye will receive the keys to a Chevrolet Cruze for a road trip that will take her from her hometown of San Francisco to Las Vegas. She will perform live Friday night, May 18 at a “Battle of the Bands” competition before an audience of thousands. The winner, selected by a panel of Billboard celebrity judges, will perform Sunday, May 20 as part of the nationally televised 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Menace had a chance to get her on the phone to talk about it. Find out what went down and how it all happened.

The Killers’ Saxaphonist Dies From ‘Apparent Suicide’

NSSN 2008′s artist The Killers’ saxophone player, Tommy Marth, was found dead in his home Monday.

It has been determined that he took his own life at his residence in Las Vegas. TMZ.com reports that he was only 33 years old. Marth performed sax for The Killers on their Sam’s Town and Day & Age albums and toured with the gang in 2008-2009.

Is Megan Fox Pregnant?

When we last reported a pregnancy, Snooki was keeping her first trimester a secret, so it was rumor for the first three months until she finally confirmed the story.

In Miss Fox’s case, E! Online reports that a source close to her and husband, Brian Austin Green, are expecting a baby.

But, this is that same grey area where sources close to a celebrity divulge details prematurely. The fact is Megan, 25, and Brian, 38, have yet to confirm or deny whether or not their family is expanding.

Brian Austin Green, of Beverly Hills 90210 fame, already has one child, who’s 10 years old, from a previous marriage to Vanessa Marcil.
